The size corresponds to body height — a 160 cm gi is for someone around 160 cm tall. The measurements below are in centimetres and taken with the gi laid flat; they are not body measurements. The widths (M, E, H, I) are therefore half the circumference: 53 cm across the chest means a circumference of roughly 106 cm. Points A, B, C, D and M are measured on the jacket, E, F, H, I and K on the trousers. Allow for a manufacturing tolerance of ±1.5–2 cm; if you are between two sizes, we recommend the larger one.

Katsudo Kyokushin Kimono is a sturdy and durable karate kimono designed for the Kyokushin style, made for intensive training, full contact and heavy use. The KYOKUSHIN cut takes into account the specifics of this martial art and provides sufficient freedom of movement for power techniques, kicks and contact exercises.

The weight 12 OZ combined with 100% cotton offers an ideal balance between durability and comfort. The material is pleasant to wear, absorbs sweat well and at the same time retains its shape even after frequent washing. This karate gi for Kyokushin is suitable for everyday training as well as more demanding sparring in the dojo.

The kimono is intended for adult karate practitioners who practice Kyokushin karate and are looking for a reliable karate kimono for full-contact training with a traditional appearance and functional construction.

Suitable for:

Kyokushin karate
full-contact training
intensive club training
advanced and adult karate practitioners

Technical specifications:

Type: karate kimono (gi)
Cut: KYOKUSHIN cut
Weight: 12 OZ
Material: 100% cotton

This kimono is made of 100% cotton, so it may shrink by roughly 3% after the first wash. Wash it in cold water and do not tumble dry to keep shrinkage to a minimum.
